Moon Town feels like somebody took a fanfic forum, a small horny village and a half-finished life sim and shook them together until weird chemistry started. You land there basically broke, parents gone, no safety net, and the game just kind of shrugs and says “ok, now what?” It doesn’t hold your hand, which is nice until you walk into the wrong bar shift, piss off the wrong coworker and suddenly your “romance” with them is a passive aggressive war carried out through text messages and cold shoulders. That part actually felt more real than half of the porn games on Steam. One moment I was tapping through a cute chat with Hana about her favorite music while running on the treadmill, next moment she brings up that one night where I flirted with Charlotte at work and the whole mood flips from soft to sharp. Sex here doesn’t drop from the sky; you can ruin it with one badly timed choice and the game does not care if you save scummed. I tried that in another tab on Chrome and the app system still remembered stuff I texted earlier, so my “perfect” run looked like a messy canon rewrite where the plot holes are all my fault.

What I really liked is how your horny brain is constantly fighting your grind brain. You’re in the gym, sweating to push stamina up, checking that in-game phone every few seconds to see if Dante finally replied to your risky selfie, and at the same time watching the calendar because your rent is coming and you took too many shifts off to go on “dates.” There’s this one evening where I had to decide between a night shift with good cash or a rooftop hangout with Joshua. I went for the cash, thought I was being smart, and next time I saw Joshua he was colder, chat options shorter, like he was turning from love interest to background NPC. Later, when the clothes finally come off, the sex scenes feel earned, not just tacked on. Charlotte’s first explicit scene with my male MC hit harder because we had all this flirty back-and-forth on the phone, small jealous moments at work, plus me actually showing up to her birthday on the calendar. The scene itself is dirty in a nice way, lots of attention to small details like her changing expression when you choose to tease instead of rush. It still has rough spots, like some transitions are stiff and sometimes a line sounds like bad translated doujin, but that actually made it weirdly charming for me as non-native too. Feels like reading ambitious fanfic that sometimes forgets what tense it was using, yet you still stay up clicking because you want to see if your “canon” version ends in love, manipulation, or some fucked-up mix of both where you’re sexting one character from bed with another one quietly sleeping next to you, and the game silently judges you by logging it all in that little stats screen you keep pretending not to look at.
