The whole thing feels like it was coded in a weekend by someone who just discovered RPG Maker and said fuck it, good enough. The UI is clunky, the text sometimes overlaps in weird ways, and there's this one sound effect during the sex scenes that sounds like a printer jamming. I love it. Not in an ironic way either, there's something raw about a game that doesn't try to hide its seams.
You play this corporate guy who just got VP and moves into a new place. Standard setup. But the way the dialogue handles his whole "I'm too busy for love" thing is actually kind of funny, he says shit like "my spreadsheets don't cheat on me" with a straight face while obviously eye-fucking the neighbor through the peephole. The two women are classic archetypes, the bubbly one and the reserved one, but the writing gives them these little moments that caught me off guard. The bubbly neighbor has this thing where she bites her lip when she's nervous and the game mentions it like six times and I started looking forward to it. That's weird, right? Getting conditioned to anticipate a lip bite. The threesome route unlocks way earlier than I expected and the CG art for it is genuinely hot even though the anatomy goes a bit Picasso in one frame, her elbow just... I don't know what happened there.
The businessman tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting because honestly the protagonist's job barely matters after the first ten minutes. He could be a dog walker for all the plot cares. But the power dynamic stuff creeps in during the flirtation scenes and I found myself picking the more dominant dialogue options without thinking about it. The game doesn't judge you for it either, which I appreciate. No moral hand-wringing, just two neighbors who are increasingly down bad and a guy who stopped pretending he wasn't interested around the time the second button on her blouse gave up. The CG hentai scenes are static but well drawn, and there's this one angle during the threesome where the perspective shifts and suddenly you're looking up at them and I actually said "oh damn" out loud. My cat looked at me. Whatever.
