The first time Laurel gets properly felt up in the grocery store, it's not some dramatic thing. She's reaching for a can of tomatoes and this older guy, her husband's boss I think, just presses against her from behind. His hand slides right up under her sundress like he owns the aisle. And she lets him. That's the whole game right there, really. Not Too Refined knows that corruption isn't about big speeches, it's about that little pause where you could say no but your finger's already clicking the option to stay quiet.

I've played enough of these wife corruption visual novels to spot the patterns. What gets me here is how the 3dcg models look almost too clean, too glossy, like a soap opera set. Laurel's got this big ass that the camera absolutely obsesses over during the voyeur scenes. Her mother in law is a total milf stereotype but somehow it works because the writing gives her actual venom. You can feel the family pressure suffocating Laurel, which makes her cheating feel less like pure horniness and more like she's gasping for air. The interracial scenes with her husband's colleague hit different when you realize she's been emotionally starved for months.

The groping sequences are where the game really shines. Public places, quiet moments where anyone could walk in. The exhibitionism stuff ramps up nicely, though I wish the multiple endings weren't so binary. You're either a saint or a complete mess by the end. No middle ground for someone who just wants a little oral sex on the side without destroying everything. The handjob scenes are animated weirdly stiff, but the creampie finish in the netorare route made me forget about technical jank real quick. Something about watching her wedding ring glint while she's getting railed by another man. The game knows exactly what buttons it's pushing and it doesn't pretend otherwise. Just don't expect a happy marriage simulator.
