Jennifer’s story here feels like someone mixed a horny urban fantasy with a cheap soap opera and then forgot to clean it up, in a good way. You start as this witch girl who just lost her dad, and the game doesn’t waste a lot of time pretending it’s deep drama. There’s a “oh no my father” mood for like five minutes, then you’re already poking around his stuff, talking to a lawyer, and suddenly you’re the heir to a whole bag of magical bullshit and creepy people who look at you like a walking sex toy. The sandbox structure is kinda nice and kinda annoying at the same time. On one hand, you can wander around and poke into different places, replay scenes, try out choices, grind some stuff, all that. On the other hand, there’s those moments where you’re walking circles in the same hall, clicking everything, like “okay where is the tiny trigger so someone can grope me again and move the story.” I had this one moment where Jennifer went to bed, and I honestly thought it’s just a time skip, then camera starts crawling over her body and suddenly you’re not alone in that bed anymore. No warning, no romantic buildup, just pure “he’s touching her while she sleeps” filth. Hand sliding under panties, her body reacting even though she’s “asleep,” that weird mix of wrong and hot that hits like a brick if you like darker stuff.
