The MC is just... broken. In the best way. That first scene where he's alone, the corruption tag really doing the heavy lifting, and he just goes at himself? The masturbation animation is janky as hell. The loop stutters. His face is frozen in this weird grimace. But the voice acting, or maybe the writing, it sells this desperate, hateful energy that a polished animation would have smoothed over. I watched it three times. The big tits on the first woman he manipulates, they're 3dcg but they move like they're filled with water, not silicone. I don't know why that's hotter to me, but it is. The physics are wrong and I wish they'd never fix it.
The romance path feels like a trap. You're building this connection, the vaginal sex scenes are genuinely tender in a way that clashes with the rest of the game, and then the creampie finish happens and you remember this is all a long con. His internal monologue after is brutal. I had to put my phone down and go yell at a Cloud Strife cosplayer about his shoulder armor being on the wrong side just to feel normal again. The big ass on the secondary target is a focal point, obviously, but the corruption scenes with her feel more mechanical. Like the MC is just going through the motions. Which might be the point? His fractured psyche and all that. But it makes those scenes less engaging than the solo stuff, which is weird to say.
My only real complaint, and I'm still mad about it, is that you can't skip back to specific choices. You have to replay huge chunks. I missed a dialogue option that apparently unlocks a whole different corruption branch and now I'll never see it because I don't have the patience. The game knows it's making you complicit and it doesn't care. Neither do I, I guess.
