New Year in this game does not feel like some cute background theme, it hits more like a drunk family reunion where half the people want to fuck you, the other half want to kill you, and a few probably want both. You play Matt, this young soldier that comes back home after shit went really wrong and somehow also right at the same time. Town looks normal on the surface, lights, fireworks, everyone pretending the year will be better, but the whole place feels cracked. People hide things. Bodies hide more. When you start clicking around, you realize the “society destroyed” part is not just about broken buildings, it’s more like everybody’s morals fell into a blender and nobody even tried to pick them up again. Matt walks into his family house like he owns the place, and the game just throws you into these super charged scenes where your “relatives” are way too hot, way too close, and the line between comfort and corruption is a suggestion at best. The tits are big, the asses are huge, the camera is not shy at all. Sometimes it lingers a bit too long on a curve and you forget what choice you were supposed to make, you just click something and hope it leads to more skin.

Then the weird shit starts sliding in around the edges and you realize it’s also a paranormal thing, but the game never pauses to explain “oh hey, here is the lore”. Stuff flickers. Shadows move where there is no one. That one scene where you sneak outside during the fireworks, and a monster shape shows up behind the girl you’re flirting with, but nobody reacts, only the lighting on her huge chest changes. It feels like the world itself is horny and sick at the same time. Some of the sex scenes are just straight up romance with extra steps, like slow kissing, hands on hips, soft moaning, and in the next click you are dragged into this netorare situation where you’re watching someone else plow a woman you were just starting to care about. Or worse, you are the bastard doing the stealing. The game doesn’t hold your hand, you just kind of slide into those paths. Dialogue is sometimes clunky and the English makes no sense in small parts, but honestly that almost fits, because nobody in this town is truly saying what they mean anyway. I got annoyed at one tiny UI thing, like the choice buttons sit slightly off center during one of the hottest scenes and it keeps pulling my eye away, and then I forgot about it but still, it bugs me. Under all the filth there is this weird soft layer of romance, like Matt is trying to build something human while fucking his way through a broken New Year party full of secrets and supernatural eyes watching from the dark corners of every room.
