The password minigame is a fucking mess and I love it. You get this little terminal screen with blinking lights and you're supposed to figure out some code while the game gives you zero hints. I spent maybe twenty minutes just clicking random numbers, convinced my save was bugged, before I realized the solution was hidden in a crew log I'd skimmed past three days ago. Classic adventure game bullshit that somehow works because the rest of Space Paws is so aggressively horny you need these moments to breathe.

The relationship system has these tiers now, talk, ask, date, give, girlfriend, and watching her status shift from "curious" to something steamier over multiple in game days feels like actual progression instead of just clicking through dialogue trees. The animated scenes use some new system that's smoother than the old ones, less janky frame transitions, though the static scenes they promise to animate later are still just sitting there like placeholders. The market character you can "interact" with now is a whole other thing I won't spoil but let's just say the pickup tag isn't there for decoration.

The 45 day limit stresses me out in a game that's otherwise about exploring a spaceship and flirting with dog planet furries. Why put a timer on my degeneracy? The mute button is a thoughtful addition though because those H sounds got a lot louder in this update and my apartment walls are thin. The grammar fixes help, earlier builds read like someone ran the script through Google Translate twice, but there's still moments where dialogue feels stitched together from different drafts. You can enter all the rooms now at certain story points which opens up some tucked away interactions, though the sprouts not being usable yet feels like a dangling thread they forgot to cut. The direct spaceship button saves so much backtracking I almost cried.
