Dragon Lewd Z is basically what happens when someone watched too much DBZ and thought "you know what this needs? More horny." And honestly? They weren't wrong. The whole thing feels like fanfiction that got way too ambitious for its own good, but in the best possible way.

The trainer mechanics are pretty straightforward - you're building relationships with the usual suspects from the Dragon Ball universe, except now they're all dtf and apparently have nothing better to do than hang around waiting for you to seduce them. Chi-Chi's there being her usual self but with way more cleavage, Android 18 maintains that cold exterior while clearly wanting to jump your bones, and Android 21... well, she's got that whole "I could absorb you but I'd rather fuck you" energy going on. Bulma shows up too because of course she does - the woman who married a genocidal alien prince isn't exactly known for making conservative choices.

What caught me off guard was how the sandbox elements actually work here. Instead of just clicking through dialogue trees like some boring ass dating sim, you're managing your time and resources while trying to figure out which girl wants what. The MILF content hits different when it's Chi-Chi being all frustrated housewife energy, and the thicc character designs... look, I'm not gonna pretend the art isn't doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Some of the unlock conditions are weird as hell though - why do I need to train for three days straight just to get Android 18 to acknowledge my existence? The pacing gets wonky sometimes where you'll have these intense scenes followed by grinding for stats that feels like actual work. But when those spicy events finally trigger, the payoff usually makes the wait worth it. The parody elements keep things from taking themselves too seriously, which is probably for the best considering we're talking about cartoon characters getting freaky.

The whole thing feels like someone left a Koikatsu scene running overnight and forgot to turn off the auto-advance. You know that specific jank where the models clip through each other during a supposedly intimate moment? It's everywhere here. Android 21's hair phases through her shoulder while she's giving you that look, the one that's supposed to be seductive but lands somewhere between confused and mildly inconvenienced. I don't know why that made me keep clicking but it did.

The setup is pure isekai trash, you get dropped into the Dragon Ball world and immediately everyone wants to fuck. No buildup, no real reason. Bulma's there, Chi-Chi, Videl, the androids. The dialogue reads like it was translated through three different languages and then back to English by someone who only had a vague understanding of the source material. At one point Android 18 says something about "power level readings increasing in your pants area" and I had to stare at my ceiling for a solid minute. The harem aspect isn't earned at all, characters just appear in your room and things escalate. There's a scene with Android 17 that comes out of absolutely nowhere, no setup, just suddenly he's there and the game treats it like this was always the plan.

I kept playing though. The sad endings, when you actually get them, have this weird hollow quality that I genuinely enjoyed. Not because they're well written, they're not, but because the whole experience is so disjointed that a downer conclusion feels more honest than a happy one. The romance paths are so rushed that failure seems like the intended outcome. Like the game is accidentally telling the truth about these kinds of power fantasies. You can't just isekai into a world and expect genuine connection, even if the engine renders everyone's tits perfectly. The erotic scenes are explicit and frequent but they land weird, like watching action figures get mashed together. Sometimes that's exactly what you want at 2am when sleep isn't happening and your brain has turned to static. The Ren'py framework chugs along, clicking through dialogue trees that barely branch, collecting scenes like broken trophies. I won't pretend it's good. But I finished it.
