The loading screen for Fumerole Cave is just a black void with some text and I thought my browser froze. That's the whole vibe though, this game from Introspurt doesn't care about being slick. It's raw. The RPG-like tag is funny because you don't level up or anything, you just click through dialogue that feels like someone's unfiltered fantasy diary. You're in this cave, right? Crimson Keep gets mentioned but you never see it, it's just this looming idea somewhere above while you're stuck in the fumerole with demon girls who have zero patience.

The demon sex scenes just happen. No quest marker, no build up. One minute you're reading about stalagmites and the next a demon girl is describing exactly what she wants in broken English that somehow makes it hotter. The POV style means you never see yourself, just their faces and bodies pressing close. Voice acting would've ruined this honestly, the silence makes every typed moan feel louder. I kept clicking the same dialogue option three times because I thought my mouse was broken but no, the game just loops like that. It's janky in a way that feels intentional.

I wish the novel parts had more branches. Sometimes you pick something and the demon reacts the same way regardless, which pulls you out of the moment. But then there's this one scene in Fumerole Cave where a demon girl whispers about the crimson keep above and her tail wraps around the text box and I forgot to breathe. The sound design is basically nonexistent except for this low hum that my laptop fan synced up with perfectly. Pure accident but it worked. The whole thing feels like finding someone's private RPG Maker project from 2005 that they never meant to upload, except here it is on a browser tab next to my email.
