Your character just stares at the ceiling, and I've never felt more pathetic in my life.

Wish there was a gallery mode that unlocked properly after the first playthrough. Had to dig through the game files like a degenerate archaeologist to find the full scene with the colony leader, Veronica. That one involves a zero-g strap setup that's genuinely creative. The writing during the voyeur segments is surprisingly sharp, capturing that specific nausea of knowing exactly what's happening but needing to see it anyway. The space setting is barely used beyond the isolation gimmick. Mars is just a backdrop for bad decisions and worse coping mechanisms. Don't expect a happy ending. Don't expect any ending that doesn't leave you feeling hollow and weirdly satisfied.

ok so the consent thing is a mess right from the jump. you're in her bedroom, she's into it, but you're basically a time traveling ghost with amnesia. does she consent to you specifically or just the idea of someone? my brain kept doing this annoying ethics watchdog thing where i'd be clicking through a scene and suddenly think wait does this version of yume even know about the other timelines? the game never asks that and honestly it made me feel grimy in a way i wasn't expecting from a renpy porn game.

the ai generated art is... look sometimes it works and sometimes her hand has seven fingers and her tit is melting into the bedsheet. there's this one scene with the playful yume where she's on top and her expression keeps flickering between horny and vaguely nauseated because the ai couldn't decide what face to give her. i laughed out loud and then felt bad because the voice acting is actually decent and i was ruining the mood. the experimental tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. multiple endings sure but after the third loop i realized the "hidden truth" is just... more loops? i think? i got one ending where she cries and one where she doesn't and honestly couldn't tell you what i did different.

the juiciest bit is with the timid version where she whispers something about being scared you'll disappear and then the scene just goes for it. like full on hentai logic where anxiety transforms into aggressive riding. the writing during that part is actually good which surprised me because the rest reads like someone fed a chatbot fifty doujins and said "make more." the replayability is weird because you're not replaying for the story, you're replaying because you forgot which choices you made last time and the game doesn't track that. it's like scrolling through a porn site at 2am where every video looks familiar but you click anyway. the experimental nature means some routes just dead end with no payoff and you sit there staring at the main menu wondering if you broke something. i respect the ambition but also i closed the tab mid scene twice and didn't feel compelled to go back.

You’ll be mid-stroke, the 2d sprite work doing that classic hentai thing where the fluids are just absurdly copious, and then you notice the text hinting that she’s reaching for something under the pillow. Your dick is telling you one thing, the survival horror part of your brain is screaming another. The multiple choice system has consequences that feel genuinely unfair, like the game is gaslighting you. I failed a run because I complimented her hair. Apparently that was the wrong specific shade of pink to acknowledge. Never figured out the logic.

Wish the escape routes were a bit less obtuse, but they won’t patch it, this is the creator’s twisted vision. There’s a moment where you can just… let her win. Stop guessing. And the bad end is so much more tender than the “good” ones. Makes you think. The whole thing feels like a cursed visual novel you’d find on a dead forum at 3 AM, right before the link goes down. The blood splatter effect is just a stock PNG they scaled up, and honestly, it works better than any high-budget gore system. Pure id. Don’t go in expecting a polished product. Go in expecting to get your wires crossed in the worst way possible.

You ever notice how these Renpy things always have the same font? Like someone at a convention decided this is what "adult visual novel" looks like and nobody argued. Sorcerer Slayer has that font. But it also has a plot that actually made me stop clicking through dialogue, which is rare.

The setup is weirdly specific. Your dad dies, you skip the funeral because he was a dick, and then some woman shows up with news that flips everything. Turns out the guy who killed mages for a living left behind a son who's suddenly got magic in his blood. That's a solid hook. The writing leans into the awkwardness of it, not just the power fantasy. There's a scene early on where you're trying to hide a glowing hand from a neighbor and the dialogue options are all terrible in a realistic way. I picked the one about allergies. She didn't buy it.

The adult content is there, obviously. Parody elements keep it from getting too grim. Some of the fantasy jargon gets repetitive, and there's a point where the mystery woman explains the magic system for what felt like four screens of text. I started tapping the spacebar and accidentally skipped a sex scene, which is the opposite of what you want. The renders are decent, nothing groundbreaking, but the character designs have personality. One of the mages looks like she wandered in from a different game and I respect that.

I wish the game let you be more of an asshole about the whole situation. You're a professional killer, but the dialogue often forces you into "confused everyman" mode. That tension never quite resolves. Still, the twist on the usual chosen-one nonsense kept me reading longer than I planned. Not sure if that's a compliment or a warning.
