I keep coming back to the sexy jutsu scene with Sakura. Not because it's the hottest thing in the world, but because there's something deeply wrong with how her eyes go dead when she uses it. Like the dev left in a placeholder face and just shipped it. I've screenshot it three times. My phone auto backed it up and now Google Photos keeps making collages titled "One Year Ago Today" with her thousand yard stare next to pictures of my actual cat.

The Ino route made me genuinely angry in a way I haven't felt since the Fourth Great Ninja War filler arcs. Which is to say, I cared more than I expected to. She deserved better dialogue, a better writer, a better everything, and yet I still picked her path twice. The heart wants what it wants. And what my heart wanted was to see if the animation would glitch the same way on a second playthrough. It did. She clips through the wall during the confession scene and her ponytail keeps going for like three full seconds after she stops moving.

Hinata's route is probably the most complete of the three, which isn't saying much. Her stutter is written phonetically in a way that feels like someone who learned English exclusively through fan subs. "N-naruto-kun" becomes this twelve syllable disaster that loops the audio file wrong. I laughed until I didn't. Then I laughed again.

The parady elements hit different when you realize the ninja worldbuilding is actually being used for setup and payoff in ways the real series forgot about after the Pain arc. There's a moment with shadow clones that I won't spoil but it's the kind of creative application that would make the Third Hokage blush and honestly the writing there punches above its weight class before immediately faceplanting into another typo.

I wish there was a way to skip the minigames. There isn't. This is my burden now.
