Celica looks like one of those anime mages that would normally be a side character, but here she just owns the whole place and also somehow loses her clothes every five minutes. Town of Magic feels like someone mashed together a comfy little fantasy RPG and a horny fever dream, then forgot to add any shame. The game does romance, but it never forgets to be horny first, feelings later, and then suddenly you care way too much if this idiot prince actually likes you or just wants the monster in your pants.

The pacing is a bit weird, like a feast where you get dessert before the main dish. You slam into some spicy stuff early, hands wandering, suggestive touching, a nice long look at Alister’s body where the camera definitely knows what part people care about, and then it pulls back into plot talk about warlocks and kingdoms and “honor.” I was there like, yeah yeah, political fallout, but can we go back to when he was breathing against my neck and calling me dangerous. At the same time, the small things are what stuck with me. Like one scene where they’re camping, and you can choose to sit closer to the fire or closer to Izaak. If you sit by him, his knee brushes yours, and he doesn’t move away. It’s nothing, but it’s not nothing. Or when Alek casually asks if demons can cum more than once and delivers it like he’s asking about the weather, then grins when Alister chokes on his drink. Stuff like that makes the world feel horny even when nobody is naked yet. I kinda wish there was an option to be more mean with your flirting, like really corrupt the prince, drag him into something filthy he’ll hate himself for loving, but maybe that’s me being too spicy. Anyway, if you’re the type who likes big bodies, messy power dynamics, and that slow slide from “I summoned a monster” to “I’m riding him and moaning his name like a prayer I’m not supposed to say,” then just let this game happen to you and don’t rush. Take time with the dialogue choices, push a little on the borders, and when the scene turns hot, actually read it instead of skipping for the CG. There’s a lot of fun in making Alister say the wrong thing on purpose and then fucking his way out of trouble.

It uses AI CG so sometimes a shot looks almost too pretty and then you notice a weird finger or strange angle and your brain goes “huh” for half a second before going right back to staring at thighs. It’s messy, but in a way that kinda fits a curse story. Nothing here feels gentle. You’re not romancing, you’re breaking people down and repainting them inside their own heads, and if that sounds fucked up… yeah, it is. The game knows it, and it doesn’t really care.

There’s a scene where you push her to “practice” seduction so she can surprise Kobayashi later, but every choice is actually making her more addicted to your magic and less able to say no. It’s twisted and horny and kind of pathetic, in a good way. Then you jump over to Kanna and the tone whiplash hits. She’s smaller, cuter, and the game leans hard into teasing and “innocent” obedience that is absolutely not innocent. She starts out pouting and stubborn, and after some curse adjustments she’s just quietly doing what you say, blushing and asking if she was “a good girl” while you mess with her body like you’re tuning a character in a creator app. I honestly spend too long just staring at how the lighting hits her legs in one CG and got annoyed because there’s this tiny artifact on her knee I couldn’t unsee. Still clicked through, obviously. Then you’ve got stuff with Power randomly showing up like someone mashed Chainsaw Man into the wrong folder, and instead of fixing it the dev just rolled with it. She’s loud, rude, and super easy to corrupt, which fits weirdly well. She hates being told what to do, so naturally the curse turns her into the kind of girl who begs to be ordered around, and by the time she’s grinding on a chair because you told her she can’t touch herself yet, she’s basically a dog chasing its own tail.

The parody angle is strong in how it pulls characters from everywhere and shoves them in the same cursed sandbox, but it never slows down to explain the lore properly, which I kinda liked. It feels like browsing a bunch of horny Twitter fanart threads at once, except here you get to decide exactly how broken their minds end up. And sometimes the CG glitches a bit or the proportions look a bit off, but that almost makes it feel more like some forbidden game you shouldn’t be playing, instead of polished merch. I tried screenshotting a scene with Tohru kneeling, looking up, her eyes half-gone from the spell, and my capture app lagged right at the good frame. Still mad about that.

You’re just standing there, listening to this green, sharp toothed, weirdly cute prisoner flirt with you, tease you, and slowly figure out what kind of guard you actually are. She doesn’t feel like a normal “monster girl” either. She’s got this mix of trashy goblin energy and weirdly sweet moments, like she’s trying to decide if she wants to fuck you, scam you, or both at the same time.

What I liked is that it doesn’t drag. It’s short, like one nasty little evening shift, so every choice feels heavier. You don’t spend half the game walking around, you’re just stuck at that fence, trapped in this strange, horny conversation with a monster girl who is a hundred percent smarter than your character. It really plays with that survival headspace too, not with hunger bars and shit, but survival of reputation, survival in a brutal camp where being soft gets you punished. The creepy tone creeps back in between the lewd lines, like when she laughs a little too long at something, or when she hints what goblins do to captured humans. It’s sexy, uncomfortable, funny in a dark way, and it ends before it gets boring, which in this genre is honestly rarer than a pure-hearted goblin.
