Konosuba: The Harem Adventures feels like someone took the original anime, spilled horny fanfic all over it, then decided, “yeah, this is fine” and clicked publish. You wake up as the usual unlucky dumbass hero in Axel, tossed into another world where monster girls want to kill you, then ride you, then maybe both at the same time. The game pretends to be about quests and turn based combat and all that, but everyone knows why your mouse is hovering over Aqua’s tits instead of the “attack” button. Half the time you’re joking with her about her useless goddess act, then the next scene she is on her knees, drool on her chin, eyes rolled back in perfect ahegao while you think, “yeah, this is exactly what she deserves.” The writing leans into the humiliation, the teasing, the whole “she’s divine but still choking on your dick” thing without blinking. It is not subtle. It is not trying to be.

Then there is Darkness, who looks like a walking BDSM fantasy and acts like someone switched her brain with a masochistic attack dog. The game really plays with that. Blake's got this whole submissive thing going on that feels pretty authentic to her character, and Weiss... well, she's still a prissy bitch but now she's YOUR prissy bitch if you play your cards right. The Malachite twins show up too which was unexpected but welcome.

What really sells this game though is how it doesn't take itself too seriously. The humor actually lands most of the time, even when you're balls deep in corrupting these girls. There's this one scene with Glynda where she's trying to maintain her professional demeanor while you're... let's just say providing very unconventional therapy techniques. The sexual harassment tag isn't kidding around - you're basically abusing your position of authority left and right, but in a fantasy context that somehow works. Pyrrha's content feels a bit rushed compared to the main girls, and don't get me started on how buggy some of the later scenes can be. But when it works, it really fucking works. The 3D models aren't groundbreaking but they capture the characters well enough that you'll recognize who you're corrupting.

First thing that hit me with this one was how casual it feels, like some horny side project that got out of hand in the best way. You drop into this Dragon Ball world as some dude yanked from another reality, and instead of saving planets you’re mostly trying to not get crushed between curves and power levels. I kept clicking through scenes on autopilot and suddenly realized I’m min-maxing affection points like it’s some horny JRPG, while chilled music in the background makes it feel way more wholesome than it actually is. The soundtrack is funny in a good way, it’s lo-fi chill beats that sound like something from a 24/7 YouTube study playlist, playing over a blowjob scene. My brain was confused but also very okay with it.

The game is still rough though, and honestly that’s part of the charm. Some menus feel like they were slapped together in Ren’Py at 3 in the morning, buttons in weird places, a log that you forget exists, auto mode that goes too fast that one time and you never tweak it again. Sometimes the pacing is all over the place: one route with Android 21 takes its time, lots of flirting and little touches, and then in another scene with Android 17 it’s like he barely gives you space to breathe before you’re dragged into something you absolutely shouldn’t be enjoying, but you are. I had one moment where Videl is talking all serious about your isekai situation, and in the background the chill track is looping this same snare hit that sounds weirdly off-beat. It drove me insane. I kept thinking about that tiny sound instead of her boobs, which feels like a crime for an adult game. I never fixed it, just kept playing with this small annoyance poking my ear like a mosquito. Still, there’s this one route with 18 where she starts out cold as ice, you pick the slightly smug answers, push her just enough, and by the time she’s grinding on you while pretending she’s still in control, the lo-fi track swirling gently in the back, it all clicks. Messy, horny, kind of stupid in spots, but it scratches that “I shouldn’t enjoy fucking up the Dragon Ball canon this much” itch perfectly.
