The river rapids section is actually kind of boring, you click through dialogue about supplies and maps for like ten minutes. But then Amber gets pinned against a rock by Gabriel and the tension just snaps. The sex scenes in this game don't fuck around. Full nudity, detailed cocks, cumshots, the whole thing. It's a visual novel so you're mostly reading, but the CG art by Aark0 is genuinely good. Not that fake anime style where everyone looks twelve, these are grown men with body hair and muscles. Bara fans will eat it up.

I played it on my phone during lunch breaks at work. Bad idea maybe. The scene where Mateo jerks Amber off under a waterfall while talking about how they might die tomorrow, that one got me. The writing knows when to be tender and when to just show two dudes going at it. There's also a threesome later that I won't spoil but it's worth the six hours.

The archaeology plot is whatever. Lost city in South America, early 1900s, three guys on a raft. I skipped some of the historical exposition because honestly I was there for the gay stuff. The game doesn't pretend to be deep about colonialism or whatever, it's just a vehicle for hot men in tight pants. Achievements pop up for seeing all the CGs which is nice if you're a completionist. One thing that bugged me, the sound design is basically nonexistent. No voice acting, just ambient river noises that loop awkwardly. You'll want your own music.

Also the menu font is ugly. Why does every adult visual novel have ugly menus? Anyway. If you like yaoi with actual adults and not schoolboys, this delivers. The intimate scenes are frequent enough that you won't get bored between them. Just don't expect a masterpiece of storytelling. It's porn with a plot, and the plot is fine.
