The plot about fixing the curse is there, technically, but it keeps getting postponed in favor of "one more patrol," "one more dungeon," "one more accidental anal scene with a smug elf." It feels less like saving the world and more like procrastinating with your dick out, which, to be honest, fits the theme a bit too well.
