Bulma's got this little smirk that just says she knows she's got the upper hand, even when she's on her knees. That's the whole mood right there. The art isn't polished, it's got that rough fan project feel where the lines are a bit too thick and the shading is more of a suggestion than a rule. Honestly it reminds me of the stuff people used to scribble on the oekaki boards back in the day, that raw horny energy before everyone got good at digital painting. There's something about the jank that makes it feel more direct, like you're looking at someone's unfiltered fantasy scrapbook rather than a product.
The training loop is basically a clicker but with Saiyan pride getting dismantled piece by piece. You start with Vegeta being Vegeta, all scouter readings and royal lineage bullshit, and Ceno just wears him down. I spent way too long on the first few scenes because the stat checks are kinda brutal and the grind is real. There's no clever minigame or strategy, it's just hammering the same actions until the dominance meter ticks over. It gets repetitive but that repetition almost becomes hypnotic, like you're the one being conditioned. I wish there was more with Gohan but what's there is surprisingly intense, that quiet kid energy turning into something else entirely. The domination stuff isn't subtle, it's full on breaking wills and claiming territory, and the dialogue leans hard into the power fantasy. No aftercare, no soft moments, just conquest. The sound design is nonexistent which actually adds to the grimy atmosphere, just the hum of my laptop fan and the occasional click. My Discord kept pinging and it was weirdly jarring, pulling me out of this hyperfocused degenerate state. The Piccolo scenes are my favorite even though they're brief, something about the stoic Namekian finally cracking. Don't go in expecting a faithful adaptation of the source material, the characterization is whatever serves the scene. Goku shows up and he's almost too eager, which is a choice I guess. The whole thing feels like a fever dream I had after falling asleep watching the Cell saga.
