Look, Fairy Tail has a lot of waifus and this game knows exactly which ones you’re here for. August, the old man who could copy any magic, gets yeeted back to life by some forbidden spell and suddenly he’s young again with zero fucks to give. The setup is pure power fantasy nonsense but the real hook is watching Erza Scarlet and Mirajane slowly break down from proud warriors into something else entirely.
Spent way too long trying to get the Ultear scene to trigger properly. The corruption paths feel random sometimes, like you’re just clicking through dialogue hoping the game registers your choices. But when it works, hoo boy. The 3DCG renders of Juvia are genuinely impressive for what’s clearly a one-dev project. Irene Belserion’s model looks kinda jank though, her face proportions shift between scenes and it’s distracting. Wish they’d fix that but the patreon comments suggest the creator’s moved on to other characters now.
The Kagura corruption route surprised me. Didn’t expect her to get such a dedicated arc considering she’s not main cast. Cana’s scenes lean heavy into the alcohol thing which is whatever but the Sorano content makes up for it. Still can’t figure out why Lisanna and Wendy are even tagged romance when their content is basically nonexistent. Maybe future updates? The parody aspect means everyone’s personality gets twisted just enough to justify the lewds but if you actually care about Fairy Tail lore you’ll probably cringe at how dirty they did Mirajane’s character arc. Carla’s inclusion feels like a weird choice too but that’s furry bait for a different crowd I guess. The Touka scenes are where the game actually remembers it’s supposed to be about corruption and not just generic VN fucking. Flare Corona barely appears and when she does it’s a blink-and-miss moment. Chelia Blendy’s model looks younger than canon which is a whole can of worms I’m not opening. For a game about the strongest mage reborn, you spend shockingly little time actually being powerful and way more time just running a weird harem simulator where everyone’s morals slowly dissolve. Dimaria’s time magic gets referenced like twice then never matters again.
