this game's soul magic mechanic is basically a fancy way of saying you get to mindfuck everything that moves. woke up as some dusty mage who's been napping for 3000 years and honestly the first thing i did was figure out how to make the elf chick do stuff she'd never admit to wanting. the corruption system is not subtle at all. you push and push and suddenly she's the one suggesting things and that's the whole point right

the sandbox part is kind of whatever. you wander around this fantasy land that's seen better days, collecting power, running into various monster girls and nobles with loose morals. the animation is janky sometimes. like her arm clipped through the bed in one scene and i just stared at it for way too long. but then the mind control kicks in and she's got that glazed look and suddenly i don't care about clipping anymore. funny how that works.

cheating tag is there because there's this whole thing with married characters and you just. yeah. you do the thing. the rpg elements are light, mostly just excuses to unlock more scenes. i wish the corruption was slower honestly. it goes from zero to "corrupt me harder daddy" in like two conversations and i wanted more buildup, more resistance. but the scenes themselves are hot, especially the monster ones. there's this one with a tentacle thing that i keep going back to. not gonna pretend i'm here for the story about dark lords and fallen kingdoms. i'm here to corrupt elves and watch the animated bits where they lose their minds. the game delivers that. mostly. when the animations don't break. but when they work it's chef's kiss.
