The first thing that hits you is the UI. It looks like someone took a screenshot of the actual Honkai: Star Rail gacha menu and then drew all over it with a cracked version of MS Paint. The font choices are a war crime. I spent a solid minute just staring at the main menu, genuinely unsure if my browser had failed to load the CSS or if this was the intended aesthetic. It’s the intended aesthetic. And honestly? It loops back around to being kind of perfect for a parody where the god of perversion is literally named Nanook The Perversion. You can’t expect high art when the premise is a cosmic entity giving Caelus mind control superpowers just to get his dick wet.
The gameplay loop is pure visual novel stuff, you click, you read dialogue that reads like a machine translation of a fever dream, and then you get a scene. The mind control angle means you’re basically just pointing at a character and they’re suddenly, enthusiastically on board. There’s a moment with March 7th that’s just a footjob out of nowhere, no real buildup, just a sudden, clinical pivot to her feet. The animation is 3DCG but it moves with the stiff, weightless quality of action figures being posed by an invisible, impatient hand. The sound design is completely absent, which makes the whole thing feel like you’re watching a gif with extra steps. I actually tabbed out to check if my sound was muted. It wasn’t.
The harem aspect means you’re cycling through the cast, and the exhibitionism tag comes into play in a scene with Himeko in the train car that’s so aggressively lit it looks like a hospital operating room. The anatomy during the anal scenes is... optimistic. There’s a specific moment where a hip bone seems to dislocate in real time and I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s not sexy, but it’s compelling in the same way a car crash is. You don’t play this for the fap material, you play it because you need to see what the hell it’s going to throw at you next. The fantasy and sci-fi elements are just the set dressing from the source material, used as convenient backdrops for the next act. I completely forgot to mention the oral scenes, which is telling, because they’re just as janky and oddly silent as everything else.
