Right so Riley Ito, ex soldier, has a brother to support and her bank account is laughing at her. I've seen this setup in a dozen VNs but the way her desperation gets animated here, the slight tremor in her hands when she opens bills, that's some Unreal level attention to microexpressions. The game engine clearly flexes on those little moments. Then the offer comes, protect Professor Chen at a secret lab. Standard stuff but the first time you meet the professor she's adjusting a strap on under her lab coat and I just. I had to pause. The game adapts, it says, and it meant it because I never saw a single male love interest after my first three choices. It just quietly deleted that entire branch. Which is efficient but also kind of spooky, like the game is judging you.

The lab mission goes sideways fast. There's this one scene where Riley has to distract a guard and the options are like, flash your tits, give a handjob, or just knock him out. I picked the handjob because I'm not a complete degenerate and the animation was jerky, the wrist movement didn't sync with the sound. Took me right out. But then later there's a full lesbian scene with another operative where the oral sex animation is so smooth, the tongue physics, the way saliva strands break, I don't know how they got one so wrong and one so right. Maybe different animators. The defloration content with the male lead I never met apparently exists, the game just decided I wasn't into interracial or anal and ghosted those paths entirely. Which, fine, but what if I wanted to be surprised? The romance writing is actually sincere though, when Riley and the professor have their first kiss there's this long hesitation, a teasing back and forth that feels earned. Then immediately after you can choose to humiliate her in front of the staff for exhibitionism points. The tonal whiplash is real.

The footjob scene unlocked for me somehow, I think because I kept picking the sarcastic dialogue options, and it was in a broom closet. Riley's boots come off and the sound design there, the wet pop of toes, I had to close my other tabs. The game remembers everything, it says, but it forgot I already saw the creampie ending with the female love interest and then offered me a virginity loss flashback that contradicted the timeline. Humor is hit or miss, mostly miss, but the adventure segments where you're actually sneaking around the lab feel tense. I don't know why a visual novel needs this much animation budget but here we are. The strap on scene is hotter than anything in the heterosexual route I accidentally locked myself out of. I think. I'll never know.
