The first time Fleur gets cornered in the library, I actually felt my stomach drop. Not in a fun way. She's backed against a bookshelf by some hooded figure, and the way her uniform gets... rearranged. The moaning starts before anything even happens, which is weird, but then you realize it's Myrtle floating through the stacks, getting off on the whole scene. My kid asked me what kind of game this was and I didn't have an answer ready.
The whole premise is Hermione and the girls investigating a curse that's making the men act strange, but honestly the men barely matter. It's just an excuse to put every female character through increasingly elaborate humiliation scenarios. Bellatrix shows up and things get properly cruel. The BDSM elements aren't playful. There's a scene with Ginny in the dungeons that made me close my browser and just stare at the wall for a minute. Chains, gags, the works. And the blackmail mechanics mean you're literally forcing these characters into worse situations by collecting evidence against them. I kept playing though. That's the part that bothers me.
The 3DCG models are actually decent for what they are. Luna's expressions during her corruption arc are genuinely unsettling. She starts out dreamy and distant, then gradually gets this hollow look. There's a moment where she's being degraded by a teacher and just... accepts it. The animation is janky as hell though. Characters clip through furniture constantly. During one lesbian scene between Hermione and Fleur, their hands kept disappearing into each other's thighs like some kind of fever dream. The sound design is mostly just wet noises and Myrtle's commentary, which gets old fast. I think the developers knew exactly what they were making and didn't pretend otherwise. The whole thing feels deliberately uncomfortable, like it wants you to question why you're clicking through it. But the corruption paths are so linear that you don't really have choices. Just degrees of how bad it gets.
