You ever get that feeling where a game’s jankiness somehow makes the horny parts hit harder? Apocalypse 2059 is that. It’s a 3DCG survival thing, male protag, set in a world that got nuked to shit in 2030. Now it’s 2059 and everyone’s living like moles, trying not to die. The graphics are, uh, let’s say “enthusiastically amateur.” Characters move like they’ve got a few broken bones and the lighting is often just a single angry bulb. But then a scene triggers where you’re stripping down a survivor with a frankly ridiculous ass and tits that defy the nuclear winter’s food shortages, and suddenly you don’t care about the clipping. You just go with it.

The whole thing runs on choices. Do you share your last can of mystery meat or use your weird super powers to just take what you want? The game remembers, sort of, leading to multiple endings where you’re either a benevolent wasteland king or a complete bastard. I got one ending where I was basically a raider chief with a harem, which felt earned, and another where I got graphically torn apart by a mutant. The violence is comically over the top, limbs flying, blood spurting, then a minute later you’re in a quiet, awkwardly animated sex scene that’s trying so hard to be hot it loops back around to being genuinely effective. The stripping mechanic is a highlight, a slow, deliberate reveal that’s more engaging than the actual survival bits.

The survival part is where it gets weirdly tedious. Managing your rad count and hunger meter feels like busywork between the good stuff. I spent twenty minutes trying to find a clean water source and almost quit. The map is confusing, the UI is a mess of mismatched fonts, and the super powers are never properly explained. You just suddenly have them. It’s like the game forgets it’s supposed to be a game and just wants to show you the next explicit scene. And honestly? That’s fine. The dystopian setting is just a flimsy backdrop for the animated depravity, and the humor is entirely unintentional, which is the best kind. It’s a broken, horny mess. I’ve already played it three times.

In contrast to other games in the "Lesson of Passion" series, the story of "Thorn-E" will not be about relationships of the present but rather about a dark and gloomy the future. The story will take place in 2097, and in keeping with the legend, the global catastrophe has altered the world in a significant way. The player will play as a former police officer who lost his family and is now the actions of or the people he is with are in the right line of the law. But the desire for justice remains hidden in the bowels of our character is confronted with the case of a girl who is missing, the cop is determined to find a solution regardless of the dark corners of the new world he has to explore and what are the darkest entities to encounter... Well as for what hot girls to get fucked, of course because this is the game of the "Lesson of Passion" series!
