Everything in this game feels heavy. The walls, the bodies, the way sound hits your ears. It throws you into this gray, hard prison world that somehow ends up more about heat than punishment. You’re this confused young guy, shoved into a cell before he even understands what he did, and instead of getting long explanations, the game just lets you sit in his skin. Those first scenes, where you hear distant metal doors slam and low voices echo down the corridor, already tell you that this place is not safe, not soft, and absolutely not straight. I really liked how quiet it is at the start, actually. There’s this low ambient hum, some clanking, distant footsteps, and then your cellmate’s breathing, close, too close. It’s not subtle for long. The silence gets broken by little things, like someone laughing in the next cell with that hungry sound guys have when they already undressed you in their head.

The game takes its time to show you the bodies. Muscles everywhere, not in a clean fitness-model way but thick, heavy, like they actually lift shit all day. You see veins on forearms, rough stubble on chins, backs that stretch the prison uniforms so they ride up and show the start of an ass. The camera loves torsos. It moves slow, like a horny gaze that just slides down a man’s chest and stops right above the waistband for a moment longer than it should. When your character gets cornered in the showers for the first time, there’s this one shot where water runs from a guy’s shaved head down his neck, over that wide t***, and you can almost hear your own swallow. The sound of water hitting tile, someone adjusting their grip on a bar of soap, the little echo of a laugh behind you, then a low voice asking if you “need help with that” while your character’s hand is already shaking. I got weirdly obsessed with the echo in the shower room. It makes every moan bounce back twice and it feels filthy in the best way.

Still, not everything is perfect. Some of the faces feel a bit stiff in calm scenes, like the guy is supposed to look caring but instead he looks half bored, and it pulled me out for a second. But then suddenly he’s got you pushed up against the bed frame, his breath right in your ear, and that same face is now twisted with horniness, and it somehow works again. The story is simple on surface, “boy in prison full of horny men”, but the choices actually matter in a low-key way. You decide who you give attitude to, who you avoid, who you stare at a bit too long when you walk past the yard. I liked a moment where you have option to stand your ground with a huge guy who blocks the cell door, or play it submissive. If you choose to act tough, the scene flips from threat to this tense, erotic standoff, their chests almost touching, breath mixing, like a fight that wants to become a kiss but ends up in something harder against cold concrete. If you go soft, his voice drops, he calls you “cute” and suddenly you’re his little toy for the night. I kind of wished there was more background on why you are even there, but at same time, not knowing makes the whole thing feel like a dirty fantasy you just fall into, with no real-world logic. It has that “porn plot that grew a bit of a soul by accident” feeling. Sometimes the pacing drags in the talking scenes, sometimes it jumps too fast into dick-in-hand territory, but the mood stays thick all the time. Heavy boots, metal doors, big ripped guys crowding your space, their cocks half hard under thin fabric while they pretend they are just talking. It’s all about being trapped with them, and realizing slowly that your fear and your arousal are getting harder to separate.

Cerulean Invasion throws you right into this messy mix of horny and hopeless, where everything smells like metal, sweat and recycled air and somehow that just makes it hotter. You play as Alexis, this pretty boy cadet who looks like he should be in some luxury academy on Mars, not stuck in a half-broken barracks where the walls shake every time the cannons fire. His uniform never quite fits right, it always clings to his ass and rides up when he stretches, and of course the game knows exactly how to frame that. Most scenes are just talking, but the way they look at each other across the bunk room, or how the camera lingers a bit too long on Osman’s chest when he leans forward, it all feels very “we’re probably going to die tomorrow so I’m going to stare at your bulge today.” It’s not subtle. It’s also not trying to be. There is one early scene where Alexis is half asleep in the infirmary, shirt open, bandages across his ribs, and Evan is changing the dressings. The conversation sounds simple, “does it hurt / are you scared,” but the way Evan’s fingers drag too slow over bare skin, you know exactly where it’s going. I actually had to pause my Spotify and turn up the game volume there, because the little breathy sound Alexis makes when the hand slips lower is way more filthy than anything the dialogue spells out.

Accessibility wise it is kind of a headache. Text is small and the contrast is weird, like white on almost-white in some menus, so I kept squinting. There is no real text speed control that worked for me, the slider moves but nothing changed, at least in my browser. Also the choice buttons look like normal dialogue boxes, so with my screen reader I had to poke at them like an idiot until I found the interactive bits. But then there is this shower scene with Leon where all that annoyance just evaporates. They are in the shared stall area after a mission, water running, steam everywhere, and you can see his back muscles tighten when Alexis “accidentally” brushes against him. Leon kind of shoves him into the wall, not hard, just enough to pin him, one hand braced next to his head, the other already sliding under his towel. He breathes into Alexis’s ear about how the aliens are not the only hungry thing on this ship, which makes no sense but whatever, I was not there for logic. The game does not fade to black, it shows every messy second, hips grinding against wet tiles, Alexis trying and failing to keep quiet because there are other cadets two stalls away. And the funny part is, the plot around it is trying to stay serious, talking about duty and trauma and lunar colonies, while you’re just watching two guys fuck against a shower wall like Pornhub opened a recruitment office in deep space. It kind of works. It kind of doesn’t. I wanted more options, more control over who Alexis ends up really tied to in the end, but the route structure feels locked in, like the game already decided which cock is “canon” and you are just clicking along. Still, that moment when Osman pulls Alexis onto his lap in the cockpit during a quiet patrol, pushes his flight suit down just enough, and whispers “keep your headset on, I want them to hear you breathe” into the comms, that scene stayed in my head all night, even with all the messy UI and missing toggles.

The river rapids section is actually kind of boring, you click through dialogue about supplies and maps for like ten minutes. But then Amber gets pinned against a rock by Gabriel and the tension just snaps. The sex scenes in this game don't fuck around. Full nudity, detailed cocks, cumshots, the whole thing. It's a visual novel so you're mostly reading, but the CG art by Aark0 is genuinely good. Not that fake anime style where everyone looks twelve, these are grown men with body hair and muscles. Bara fans will eat it up.

I played it on my phone during lunch breaks at work. Bad idea maybe. The scene where Mateo jerks Amber off under a waterfall while talking about how they might die tomorrow, that one got me. The writing knows when to be tender and when to just show two dudes going at it. There's also a threesome later that I won't spoil but it's worth the six hours.

The archaeology plot is whatever. Lost city in South America, early 1900s, three guys on a raft. I skipped some of the historical exposition because honestly I was there for the gay stuff. The game doesn't pretend to be deep about colonialism or whatever, it's just a vehicle for hot men in tight pants. Achievements pop up for seeing all the CGs which is nice if you're a completionist. One thing that bugged me, the sound design is basically nonexistent. No voice acting, just ambient river noises that loop awkwardly. You'll want your own music.

Also the menu font is ugly. Why does every adult visual novel have ugly menus? Anyway. If you like yaoi with actual adults and not schoolboys, this delivers. The intimate scenes are frequent enough that you won't get bored between them. Just don't expect a masterpiece of storytelling. It's porn with a plot, and the plot is fine.

The first thing that hit me wasn't the big muscular god guy with the chest you could grate cheese on. It was the sound. Or lack of it. Just this low wind loop that reminded me of waiting for a bus in February, that specific kind of cold that gets into your bones. The art is rough, like really rough, lines don't always meet and the coloring looks like someone discovered the bucket tool five minutes ago. But somehow that makes the whole thing more... intimate? The sex scenes are where this deliberate messiness actually works. There's a moment with the first god, a big bear type with these tattoos that keep changing position between frames, where the dialogue is just broken english poetry. "Your body is a temple but I will worship with my tongue" or something equally ridiculous. And then the acolyte's sprite just has this blank expression the whole time, even when things get extremely graphic. I couldn't stop laughing but also I was weirdly into it? The jank creates this uncanny valley effect where your brain fills in the gaps with filthier stuff than any polished game could show.

I wish there was more to do with the village setting. You see it in the opening and then it's just god after god, which is fine I guess but I kept thinking about that one nosy elder who sends you off. What's her deal. The game doesn't care. It's laser focused on getting this twink railed by increasingly large mythological men. There's a minotaur scene that genuinely surprised me with how tender it was, right before it got absolutely feral. The replay value is basically zero unless you have a specific thing for bara gods with clipping issues, but for one weird evening it's perfect. Like a dirty postcard from a country that doesn't exist.
