There’s a futa/trans angle showing up in the protagonist side too, depending how you read it; the game plays with that in a weirdly casual way, like yeah, you’re packing and cursed and maybe not completely human anymore, anyway put it in her. Sometimes it almost feels like a horny Lovecraft fanfic that escaped AO3 and decided to grow a spine.

The horror side actually works better because of the sex, which I didn’t expect. You’re in these dark halls, old churches, basements full of things that are not supposed to move, and you’re still thinking about how good it felt when Theresa arched her back the moment you slid into her. There are monsters, not just as “oh no fight scene” but as this wet, breathing background noise that sneaks into the erotica. Tentacles brushing thighs, shadows that watch while you’re fucking, relics that hum when you push her over the edge. One scene had me laughing and hard at the same time: you’re supposed to examine this relic, all serious professor mode, and instead you end up using the table it’s on to rail Theresa until she’s moaning loud enough to wake something under the floor. The mystery part kind of stumbles sometimes, like the pacing forgets you might enjoy actually solving stuff and not only pounding your student senseless, but then the game throws a twisted little reveal about what you really are, or why she knew your secret, and suddenly you’re staring at the screen while your dick’s still in your hand. I wish the UI didn’t feel like some half-finished Ren’Py skin someone threw together during a Discord call, but whatever, you’re not here for ergonomic buttons. The fun is in slowly dragging this girl out of her safe world into monsters, cults, and raw vaginal scenes where she asks for more even when she’s already shaking. Take your time, don’t rush her paths, save often, choose the nastier option even when it feels like too much and just let Barrowport swallow you both whole.
