This fox has secrets. Not the cute kind where he hides a crush on the blacksmith. It’s also not trying to be. There is one early scene where Alexis is half asleep in the infirmary, shirt open, bandages across his ribs, and Evan is changing the dressings. The conversation sounds simple, “does it hurt / are you scared,” but the way Evan’s fingers drag too slow over bare skin, you know exactly where it’s going. the art is. okay it’s not polished at all, like someone drew it in a hurry but also with a lot of feeling? the devil character has these eyes that follow you and the anatomy is wrong in a way that makes it hotter somehow. i kept clicking through dialogue just to get to the next cg and then feeling guilty because the story was actually making me feel things. it’s not a happy game. it’s like if a coming out story was also a horror movie but also a porno. i don’t know who this is for. people who like feeling confused and turned on at the same time i guess. the ending made me stare at my screen for a bit and then i closed the tab and opened it again. so there’s that.
