Mandatory Mentor is basically what happens if someone mixes a hardcore study cram simulator with a very mean, very horny pet training fantasy and then pretends this is all for “education”. You play the poor guy who has to turn Reina, this spoiled rich brunette disaster, into a Tokyo Uni material in just seven days while stuck together on a tropical island that feels half resort, half prison. She starts off bitchy, lazy, mouthy as hell, trying every trick to not open a textbook, and the game looks at that and says: ok, now make her obey. Academic pressure is just the excuse. The real test is how far you want to push her and what kind of insane “mentor” you’re willing to become when there is nobody around to stop you.

The rhythm of the days is addicting in a really dirty way. Morning you try actual tutoring, like quizzing her, making her repeat answers while her eyes keep rolling and she calls you “boring” for the tenth time. Afternoon, after she fails the same basic problem again, you “correct” her attitude with your own style of discipline. There is a punishment slider and it feels too good to move it up when she gives you that brat smirk. You can keep it relatively soft or go full perv and treat her like a misbehaving pet that needs to learn through humiliation. At one point I had her kneeling on the sand, wearing this makeshift collar, trying to recite formulas while blushing like crazy because every wrong answer earned her a sharp spanking that actually has weight to it thanks to the animations. I swear I was honestly trying to make her pass the exam, then two scenes later I was making her beg for the next question like it was a treat. It feels fucked up. It also feels incredibly hot. The game acts like it is about study schedules and discipline routines, but half the time you are deciding which toy you are going to “use as motivation” and realizing you barely checked the damn study guide.

What I like most is how your choices twist Reina’s personality without turning her into a boring good girl unless you really aim for that. If you focus on humiliation and pet play, she slowly shifts from arrogant brat to needy thing that looks at you like you are her owner, and some late scenes lean hard into that domination vibe, with her crawling, wearing nothing but a collar and your “reward” in her mouth after a successful test. Or you can be a bit gentler, more trainer than tyrant, pushing her with a mix of scolding and after-lesson “relaxation” where the sex still feels intense but less degrading, more like she is proud to please her mentor. The endings play with this a lot: I had one where she just barely passes and you end up bringing your trained pet back to civilization like it is totally normal, and another where you fail completely and the island basically becomes your private perversion park with your obedient island girl who forgot what pants are. The game calls itself kind of a simulator, but honestly the “serious” parts are just foreplay for the next time you bend her over the desk and ask her if she wants to try again, this time with the toy in front of her, and she nods while pretending she still cares about the exam. She doesn’t. By that point, neither did I.
