Akeno’s laugh cuts through the music in this way that makes you feel like she’s laughing at you, not him. There’s this one scene with Koneko that’s so awkwardly animated it loops twice before syncing up, and it made me laugh right before it made me need to close the curtains. The mind control bit is weirdly casual, like everyone just shrugs and goes along with it. I don’t even know if that’s sexy or lazy. Probably both.

The pacing is nonsense - one moment you’re watching a serious “contract ritual,” next thing you’re watching him buried between thighs that look like they were rendered by someone who’s never seen knees before.
