Ok so the combat. It's turn based, right, but the real damage numbers are happening in the victory screens. You beat a Grimm, a big nasty wolf thing with too many bone plates, and the game doesn't just give you XP. It gives you a scene where the monster's tentacle, still twitching, is wrapped around Ruby's throat while she's making this face. Ahegao is the tag but it's more like her soul is trying to escape through her crossed eyes while her tongue lolls out. The sound design is just wet slaps and a low gurgle. It's genuinely unsettling and I couldn't stop watching. The 3DCG models have that stiff, mobile game look, like something you'd see in a bootleg app store title, but the animator knows exactly where to put the jiggle physics. Yang's tits have more personality than the dialogue.

But then you're back at Beacon Academy and it's a slog of clicking through text boxes. The protagonist is a blank slate virgin, which is fine, the whole point is to project, but the writing is a mess of typos that somehow makes the coercive parts feel even more skeevy. There's this one choice where you can peek on Weiss in the shower. Voyeurism tag, check. The scene itself is hot, steam and suds tracing lines down her back, but the game acts like this is a normal Tuesday and not a massive violation. It just moves on to the next fetch quest. I wish the game would just own its trashiness instead of pretending to be a real RPG. The parody element is there, I guess, if you squint. It's RWBY if everyone was horny and the Grimm didn't just kill you but, you know.

The best way to play is to save scum like a maniac. Every dialogue option is a landmine that leads to either a surprisingly graphic oral scene or a game over screen. The vaginal sex scenes with the monster tag are... a lot. There's one with Blake that I won't spoil but it involves a shadow clone and a double penetration that made me put my phone down for a sec. Not because it was bad, but because the clipping was so awful I had to laugh. The textures stretch like taffy. Just lean into the chaos, skip the plot, and jerk it to the broken physics. You'll have a better time.
