This Jujutsu Kaisen parody hits different than most trainer games I've played lately. You're some dude who can't remember jack shit about his past but somehow gets dragged into the whole sorcerer business anyway. The amnesia trope is whatever, but at least they don't spend forever explaining why you forgot everything - you just roll with it and start learning cursed techniques while trying to figure out what the hell happened to you.

The combat system actually works pretty well for a turn-based setup. You're not just clicking through dialogue forever, there's actual strategy involved when fighting curses and other sorcerers. The AI-generated art is... look, it's not terrible but you can tell it's AI sometimes. Some of the monster girls look hot as fuck though, especially when they're based on the actual curses from the manga. The parody elements are solid too - they nail the personalities of characters like Gojo and Nobara, just with way more sexual tension obviously. The supernatural powers aspect feels authentic to the source material, which is more than I can say for most anime porn games that just slap some familiar names on generic characters and call it a day.

Where this gets interesting is how your mysterious past slowly unravels while you're busy training and hooking up with various characters. The temptation mechanics aren't just "click here for sex scene" - your choices actually seem to matter for character development and story progression. Some of the monster encounters get genuinely intense, both in combat and in the bedroom. The paranormal elements create this nice atmosphere where anything could happen, which keeps things unpredictable. Sure, it's rough around the edges and the English could use work, but there's enough content here to keep you entertained if you're into the whole trainer game format mixed with actual plot progression.

Kazuma finally gets to be the horny dirtbag the anime kept teasing, and honestly, it feels right. Adventurer Trainer throws you into Axel again, but instead of just watching Aqua be useless, you actually get to manage your days, grind a bit, talk shit to people, then end the day buried in some poor girl's pussy if you play your cards right. It runs in Ren’py, but it doesn’t feel like one of those lazy click-next-and-fap games, because half the time you’re juggling quests, gold, and figuring out how to not die to frogs while also trying to get Megumin to stop exploding everything and actually sit still long enough for you to undress her. Like, I spent way too long working the guild counter, sending random adventurers to die, mostly for the money, then suddenly a chain unlocked and I’m getting thanked in a private room by a very grateful girl in a very unholy way. I could complain that the grind gets a bit annoying, or that the tavern background music loop made me mute the tab in Chrome out of spite and never turn it back on, but then I hit another animated H-scene where Megumin’s thighs are shaking and her voice is cracking and my brain kinda forgot I was annoyed at anything at all.

First thing that hit me with Trick or Tease is how it feels like some horny shitpost someone made after scrolling too much Twitter in October, but then it actually kinda works. They’re laughing, touching, pushing his boundaries, and he’s already too turned on to care. And I swear the sound of that stupid plastic Halloween decoration in the background annoyed the shit out of me, but they keep cutting back to it like it’s watching the whole thing. The cosplay theme is actually kinda hot because it never goes into deep lore. The “Batman” thing is just there as a costume, not some big parody where they overdo the jokes.
