The music. It's this weird lo-fi synth thing that shouldn't work for a game with sand dunes and magic carpets, but somehow it does. It burrows into your brain while you're clicking through dialogue about being a street rat who gets scooped up by some rich dude. The whole thing feels like someone made a porn game after binging Disenchantment and old adventure titles, then forgot to polish half the sprites. Some scenes are actually detailed, the anatomy works, and then the next character looks like they were drawn in MS Paint during a lunch break.

The sex stuff is direct, no weird metaphors. You get explicit scenes with the love interests, and the writing during those parts is surprisingly filthy in a way that caught me off guard. One moment you're joking about stealing bread, the next there's a very thorough description of what tongues are doing where. The tonal whiplash is real. Voice acting is nonexistent, but the sound effects during intimate moments are... let's just say you'll want headphones. The squelch sounds are over the top, almost comical, which I think is intentional given the whole "doesn't take itself seriously" vibe. Still, the desert section dragged. Too many fetch quests, not enough of the good stuff. Then suddenly you're on a boat and there's a new girl with a tragic backstory and I forgot what I was supposed to be doing. The main character's internal monologue keeps making these self-aware jokes about being a chosen one, which lands about half the time. The other half it's just noise.

I spent twenty minutes just reading the codex entries about purple plant life on a planet orbiting an M-class red star before I even got to the sex. That's not a complaint, exactly. The scientist who wrote this clearly has some things to work through and I'm here for it. The whole setup is first contact but the aliens are basically space bonobos who think monogamy is weird and find humans inexplicably hot. You play a guy thrown into this culture shock scenario where everyone wants to fuck and also discuss cognitive biases over dinner.

The character models are 3DCG, a bit rough around the edges, the kind where sometimes a tit will clip through an arm during an animated scene and you just have to accept it. But the monster girls. Look. There's this one with bioluminescent skin and four breasts and the first time you use a sex toy on her while she explains evolutionary xenobiology in this clinical tone, I don't know, something clicked in my brain. The sandbox structure means you wander around groping and voyeuring your way through a harem that includes humans and aliens alike, and the exhibitionism scenes happen so casually it almost feels normal after a while. Almost.

The oral sex animations are janky but enthusiastic. There's a lesbian scene between two of the alien women that I watched three times, not because it was polished but because the dialogue during it was genuinely interesting, something about terreformation logistics and how their society handles trauma. The sandbox elements get tedious, you'll click through the same menus too many times, and sometimes the writing disappears up its own ass with obscure world history tangents that go nowhere. But then you'll stumble into a vaginal sex scene with a purple skinned scientist who just finished explaining polyamory dynamics and you realize no other game is doing this. Not even close. The groping mechanics are whatever, basic click and watch stuff, but the context around them makes your brain do backflips. I still don't know if I actually like this game or if I'm just fascinated by it.

I have this thing with sequels, right? Like a second date after the first one went... weirdly good. You remember the highlights, the unexpected moments, but you're terrified they'll mess it up by trying too hard. Sorcerer 2 isn't trying too hard. It's just... more. The pregnancy stuff is still there, a big focus, and I swear the belly physics got an upgrade, which is a sentence I just typed.

I think I was trying to unlock a scene with the lamia for like an hour. The branching felt arbitrary. The romance routes are where things get messy in a good way. You can feel the writer's hand pushing you toward certain choices, but the multiple endings actually surprised me. One ending I got was so abrupt I laughed out loud, then immediately felt kind of hollow. The male protagonist has the emotional range of a wet sock, which somehow makes the explicit moments funnier. During one animated sequence, his hand phases through her skirt like a Bethesda glitch, and she moans anyway. I wish the superpowers were used for something other than just ripping clothes off, but the game clearly knows what it is. A messy, horny, occasionally violent slideshow that treats its own plot like an inconvenience between groping scenes. The dystopian setting is just window dressing for titty jiggle physics that don't obey any known laws of motion.

Ok so the UI feels like someone built it in a weekend with duct tape and a dream, right? The text boxes overlap sometimes and the save system is pure chaos but who cares, we're here for tits and bad decisions. This Heart City thing throws you straight into rejection, your crush basically friendzones you in the opening minute, brutal. There's this one moment where you end up in her apartment after a "love lesson" goes sideways, and the tension is thick enough to cut. She's explaining some nonsense about confidence while her shirt is practically painted on, and the protagonist just zones out staring at her chest. When the scene finally triggers, the way the cg handles the undressing is actually hot, the fabric slides off and her tits drop with this weight that the artist clearly understood. The dialogue during sex has this awkward charm, she calls you an idiot while pulling you closer.

The dating sim loop is standard date stats stuff, pick locations, say the right thing, don't be a creep. Tried to min-max my way into a threesome route that obviously doesn't exist, waste of an evening. Wish the branching narrative didn't sometimes forget which branch I'm on. There's this one scene with a specter, very Hellblazer vibes, very World of Darkness if White Wolf got horny, and the dialogue tree just loops back on itself like a broken trigger. You pick the obvious flirt option, get some animated teasing, then suddenly you're back to investigating like nothing happened. It's almost charming. Almost. The Divi-Dead inspiration is clear if you squint, but Divi-Dead never had me questioning whether my superpowers were actually changing the outcome or if the game was just nodding along politely while shuffling me toward the same monster girl blowjob regardless.

The paranormal mystery stuff is genuinely interesting when it's not being interrupted by sex scenes that feel like they're apologizing for existing. And that's the contradiction. You come for the lewd content, you stay for the grimoire magic lore, you get annoyed when the lewd content pulls you out of the lore, then you get annoyed when there's too much lore between lewd scenes. Caleb's whole deal about paying the cost for truth, that's the thematic spine, but sometimes the cost is just watching an animated sequence that doesn't quite line up with the dialogue. Future combat mechanics are promised, and I can already see the janky Unity collisions in my mind. Looking forward to it.

The potion mixing screen is a mess. Like, who thought putting the mandrake root icon right next to the moonflower essence was smart? I kept clicking the wrong one and Luna just stands there with her big tits practically falling out of that shaman robe, waiting. Her sprite animation loops this little sway that makes the beads on her necklace clack, and honestly I spent more time watching that than tracking Prince Merril through the desert. The whole thing starts with this wedding caravan getting wrecked by dark elves, classic Aravorn stuff if you played Loren, but here the focus is Kunya and her tribe of desert nomads.

Kunya herself. She's got this scar across her shoulder blade that the artist clearly spent extra time on, it catches the light during the campfire scenes. The game calls her a future warchief but half the routes have her getting railed by Takara in a tent while the other warriors are supposedly standing guard outside. Takara's whole deal is wanting fame and glory but the sex scenes with her are surprisingly tender for someone who yells about battle honors during the day. There's this one CG where Kunya goes down on her and the sand is getting everywhere, you can see it stuck to their thighs, and I was thinking about how impractical that is but also couldn't stop looking. The animation loops are short, like three frames, but they pick the right moments to loop if you know what I mean.

Manila is supposed to be the older lone wolf type but her route barely gets any screen time compared to Lyara's whole beastmaster princess arc. Lyara's the half-elf adopted daughter and there's this whole thing about her hidden power that the plot keeps teasing. The branching is real though, I ended up on a lesbian poly ending with Luna and Takara that I didn't even know was possible. The dark elf enemies have these ridiculous outfits that leave nothing to imagination, and there's a scene where Kunya gets captured that goes places I wasn't expecting from a fantasy VN. The writing sometimes forgets what tense it's in, jumping from past to present mid-paragraph, but then it'll hit you with a line about how Kunya's fingers taste like desert salt and you forgive it. Wish the beastmaster powers actually showed up more in the sex scenes instead of just the combat text crawls.
