Karma is tired as hell and it kind of shows, in a good way. She’s not some shiny anime waifu, she feels more like that bossy bitch who’s already seen the end of the world three times and is just done with everyone’s bullshit. The whole thing starts right before everything goes to shit: war coming, Antichrist about to rise, timeline already cracked like a cheap phone screen. Instead of “hero saves world”, you’re basically poking holes in fate, pushing people into bed, twisting their lives, and then pretending it’s all for “Balance”. Most of the time it feels more like you’re using cosmic responsibility as an excuse to fuck whoever you want and corrupt whoever you can reach.

You jump between perspectives and it’s actually fun, even if sometimes it makes your brain hurt. One scene you’re stuck in the head of this dude who clearly thinks with his cock first and brain later, next scene you’re in a woman’s body who can literally feel when she’s pulling on someone’s life thread, watching how a single choice sends them from “normal life” into “I’m naked in front of a demon and somehow I’m wet about it”.
