You wake up on this busted, dead-looking planet, dust in your mouth, no magic sparkles, no elves singing, just you, some broken tech, and a damn fairy in a jar. Not the cute Disney kind either. It’s small, but my brain fixates on that more than on who is killing all those enforcers. Plot is there, sure, war, gangs, some big storm coming, whatever. I kept getting distracted by whether the next scene would let me stuff both pussy and ass in the same chain of choices or if I had to pick. Nocturne, that club, is where the game really starts being nasty. I loved that scene and kinda hated it, because the game gives you the power and then rubs your face in what you used it for. Also the UI text for the clues is tiny in some menus and it pissed me off for no reason and then I forgot about it five minutes later when she got her ass fingered in the backseat of a town car while pumping a politician for information. Sometimes the writing hits hard, like when she’s alone on a rooftop, tired, trying to connect dates and names, and her phone buzzes with some slutty offer to “come relax” at the club again. The city feels alive in that broken, horny way where every neon sign hides a camera and every secret costs either money, blood, or Kate’s pussy. What I like is how the game lets you flip between being in control and getting totally owned. There’s this older guy character who shows up in some paths and every time he appears, shit gets more intense. He has that big “I know exactly what your girl really wants” energy, and if you lean into the darker choices, you can just let him corrupt everything while you watch, hands tied metaphorically or not. The mix of anal, oral, creampies, all that, it’s not thrown randomly, it sort of matches the mood. Like if things get more degrading, the sex gets rougher, dirtier, more public. Humor keeps it from feeling too heavy, lots of dumb jokes and weird dialogue, but then there’s those moments when the punchline is you losing someone, or letting them be taken right in front of you, and the game doesn’t stop to comfort you.
