Normal “dating sim” stuff sits right next to “oh cool, demon tentacle is rearranging my inside, guess that’s Tuesday now.” You can build yourself like an RPG nerd too, pumping stats so your mind control hits harder, or so you don’t get your ass kicked when some paranormal freak decides you’re on the menu. Combat’s there, but the real fights feel like they’re inside people’s minds, watching them crack, seeing a sweet shy girl slowly transform into a needy cock-hungry mess because you kept nudging her thoughts in the wrong direction. Also, small thing but it annoyed the shit out of me: the way some scenes cut off right when you want one more thrust, one more frame, like the game is edging you on purpose and then pretending it didn’t. But then you get another scene where Jake is spit-roasting someone with a demon, or waking up sticky after a furry centaur nightmare, or giving sloppy oral in some filthy alley while ghosts watch, and you kinda forgive it without even meaning to.
