What even IS this game. I spent twenty minutes just... walking on the beach, poking at crabs. Not a metaphor. Actual crabs. The pixel art is crunchy in a way that feels less "deliberately retro" and more "someone learned RPG Maker last Tuesday and had a vision." A weird, horny vision.
The dialogue reads like it was run through three different translators and then edited by a horny possum. The April 2021 update apparently added "plot options" which is generous. There's a plot in the same way there's a plot in a dream you have after eating bad gas station sushi. It holds together as long as you don't examine it too closely. And there's this one minigame where you mix drinks that's infuriating. The timing window is absurd. Why is the mixology the hardest part of the furry fucking simulator. I'm still thinking about the rabbit with the eyepatch. She never explained the eyepatch. Nobody asked about the eyepatch. That's the kind of narrative commitment I respect. File size is criminal for what it is. Runs smooth though.
